Are you counting down the days till school ends? Maybe you’re still following classes from home or if you’re one of the lucky ones, you’re back in school already! However, if you’re anything like us, you cannot wait till summer 21. I mean, Summer 2020 was about lots of comprises and lots how days chillin’ in the backyard… But hopefully this year we will be able to get a full re-do! Anyway, you’ll definitely need an aesthetic summer wardrobe to live your best Hot girl summer – and we’re here to help you out.
#1 Sheer co-ord sets
A sheer or see through co-ord set is must for summer days. We spotted Addison Rae and Kourtney Kardashian in a cute white and blue sheer co-ord set from Missguided in the last season of Keeping up With the Kardashians and we were obsessed. Sets like these are perfect for fun lunch with your girls like Adi and Kourt did, but they can also work perfectly as a beach cover up.

#2 Cut out jeans
All right, a good pair of jeans cannot miss in your closet, and for summer we gonna spice things up with teasing cut out details. We spotted this trend all over TikTok already (Avani wears a cut out jean regularly). Pair this style with a cute crop top or tie up vest. We don’t want to hide those cut out details of course.

Talking about cardigans and crop tops… Make it a set if you really want to be dressed as that summer ’21 bich. These sets have all nineties vibes and we’re living for it. A cute crop top set in pastel colours or with a print like flowers are the best option for this summer.
#4 Silk, silk, baby!
Just like last season, silk is an essential this summer. A sexy (faux) silk slip dress with cute sandals or a silk top with a short are to go’s for summer. You can work with silk details if you don’t like to wear a girly outfit. What about a silk scrunchie for your hair or a silk scarf around your waist?
#5 Scarf tops or bandana tops
Scarf tops is a trend from the nineties that has made a come back (just like many other ‘90s trends). These sexy tops are so cute to wear on a summer date or just a regular night going out with your girls. Pair a bandana top with a high waisted pair of flared pants or jeans or a bodycon skirt.

Summer means lots of colors and what better way to add some color to your outfit than with accessories? We spotted Resin colored rings all over tiktok. Tiktokker Ana Wolfermann stacked different types of rings to spicy up a brown outfit, I love it!
#7 Small shoulder bags
Did I mention that the nineties are back? Well let’s say this is also the case for your bag. No big shopper or totes anymore, but a cute little shoulder bag is what we need. Want to go all the way? Get them in metallic or in a cool print.
#8 Bold prints
Are animal prints dominating your feed currently? Don’t be surprised, because zebra prints or leopard prints are a must this summer. While we saw leopard last season in dresses, the zebra print is a winner for summer ’21. And if you don’t like the animal print hype – you can always choose another print like flowers or tie die.
#9 Tiny little heels and lace up shoes
The days of sky high stiletto heels are gone (your feet will thank you!), Shoe trends for summer ’21 are all about smaller heels and block heels. Even better if you pair it with a lace up sandal design in a bold color like pink or neon green.
#10 Flared pants (or any pants but a skinny!)
2021 is the end of the Skinny Jean era. Replace your skinny with a sophisticated flare, preferably in a cool print or in a mesh fabric. Baggy boyfriend jeans or mom jeans are also a good option this summer.
#11 Pleated skirts or tennis skirt
While school is almost over, the girly school-girl skirts are making a come back this summer. Pleated skirts or tennis skirts will be your go to for a hot summer day. Pair them with a cardigan set for the ultimate “Mean Girls” outfit (even better when it’s in pink ). For shoes I like to wear a pair of sneakers to give an edgy touch to this girly outfit.
